Custom Flat Flags
A clean, graphic flag built around your colors, your story and the space where it belongs.
A familiar format. Your own direction.
Flat flags offer a straightforward silhouette with room for meaningful detail. Discuss a classic treatment, a subdued palette or a personal composition.
We will define the dimensions, materials, finish and any lettering together. The design study illustrates the graphic direction; it is not a photograph of a finished piece.
- Custom dimensions for your wall or display
- Color and finish selected for the project
- Names, dates or a short dedication where they fit
- Original design changes quoted with the complete piece
Tell me what you have in mind.
Send your idea, reference images, approximate dimensions, budget and needed date. We will agree on scope, price and timing before paid work begins.

My name is Bob Magnuson. My journey didn't start in a design gallery; it began in the grit and precision of finish carpentry. I spent years mastering the structural integrity required to build things that last. But the spark for the Studio truly ignited when I built a custom sign for a local company. In that project, I discovered my true calling: blending the "how" of master carpentry with the "how it feels" of creative artistry.
Today, Magnuson Studio is a one-man masterclass dedicated to the belief that craftsmanship should be felt as much as it is seen.
The Leap of Faith.
Launching this studio was a terrifying leap of faith. Walking away from the "known" to put myself at the mercy of the world as a business owner wasn't a decision I took lightly. But it was a necessary one.
I chose this path to build something I could truly put my name behind. Something where quality is never compromised for a bottom line. Ultimately, this business exists to give me the freedom and flexibility to be more present for my family. In a world that demands we always give more to the "grind", I am building a legacy that allows me to give my best to my wife and my three boys.
Built on Heart
While I am the hands behind the tools, the heart of the studio is my family. My wife and our three sons keep my world spinning. Raising three boys with varying degrees of autism has taught me more about sensory environments, patience, and attention to detail than any textbook ever could.
My wife remains my most trusted "second eye," providing the invaluable feedback that helps push my creativity to the next level. Every project I take on is fueled by the goal of providing for them while remaining the present father and husband they deserve.
The Power of Environment
I’ve always had a deep attunement to how physical spaces influence our emotions. Whether it's a custom plaque, a unique display, or a storefront sign, I know that when a customer walks into your space, they aren't thinking about the cost—they are experiencing a memory.
The Magnuson Approach: On-Site Consultations Because I believe the environment is everything, I don't just work from a blueprint in a vacuum. I offer on-site consultations to see exactly how a piece will "live" in your space. I want to feel the lighting and understand the flow of your business to ensure the final result doesn't just fit...it belongs.
